1. How do you decide what the budget is / How much will it cost?

After we understand the scope of your project, we’ll put together a plan for shoot and edit days. Then we’ll get you an estimate.

2. How many professional cameras to you own?

Four. And two more that can fly.

3. How fast/high/far away will the drone fly?

The drone’s top speed is 45 mph. The FAA says I can’t fly higher than 400 feet above what we’re filming. The FAA also requires that all drone operators maintain a visual line of sight with the drones at all times (9.3 miles if you’re breaking the rules).

4. When you fly for work, how many bags fly with you?

At least 5. Sometimes 7. We have packing down to a science.

5. How many states have you worked in?

28 and counting. Plus several countries.

6. What do you like about editing?

Sculpting the story.

7. Who is the most famous person you’ve interviewed?

Warren Buffett.

8. Why do you like documentary style projects?

I love meeting new people and learning about who they are and what they do.

9. How big is your crew for filming?

Sometimes it’s just me. Usually two. Sometimes more. We build the crew around the needs of the project.
